Africa faces an immense challenge, which is to feed an ever-growing population that will double by 2050, while the continent is not yet self-sufficient. Nearly a quarter of the African population does not have enough to eat and has been experiencing climate change for several years, the consequences of which are negatively affecting agricultural production.
